Robin Boswell has over 20 years of experience in professional and career development services in education, corporate and consulting settings. Robin specializes in consulting graduate business students on career goals, job search strategies and professional development.Robin is able to demystify the job search process for her clients while adding some clarity, strategy and science to what is really an art. She is able to normalize the challenges job seekers face and offer suggestions to help clients get “unstuck” by breaking the process down into manageable stages. Working one-on-one with clients is Robin’s “sweet spot”. Prior to working at UNC Charlotte, Robin was employed by Wake Forest University, Johnson & Wales University, Wachovia, Carolinas Healthcare System, Right Management Consultants and UNC Greensboro. Robin received her Master of Arts degree in Student Development / Counseling and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Appalachian State University. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor. When she is not helping graduate students, she enjoys figure skating and fostering homeless and sick animals. She and her husband enjoy time at home and in the mountains with their beloved pets.
