Applying Math to Finance and Economics
I am pursuing a Master of Science degree in Mathematical Finance. I was looking for a curriculum that offers the opportunity to apply math to finance and economics.
Connecting Students to the Finance Industry
I came to the Belk College of Business because of its connection with the Charlotte business community. Charlotte is one of the largest financial centers in the country, allowing for many networking opportunities. Because of this I was able to get an internship and gain valuable experience in the financial industry.
Work and Play
I am currently working at TIAA-CREF as a Financial Analyst II. When not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors, such as going for a walk in a park or hiking in the mountains.
Best Experiences at Belk College
I have enjoyed the classes because they focus on derivative pricing, which was entirely new to me. I like that I am able to apply what I learned in undergrad to new material.
