Graduation

To be eligible for graduation a student must complete 30 semester hours (10 graduate classes) of advanced course work and pass a comprehensive exam. See the full curriculum here

Prior to graduation, students must complete the following:

STEP 1: ADMISSION TO CANDIDACY REQUIREMENTS

An Admission to Candidacy form, listing graduate-level courses that apply to the degree, must be submitted to the program coordinator one month prior to the semester in which the student plans to complete the course work for the degree.

STEP 2: APPLICATION FOR DEGREE

An Application for Degree form must be completed and submitted with the graduation fee to the Registrar's Office by the published deadline.

STEP 3: UPDATE CONTACT INFORMATION

Fill out the Belk College Graduate Alumni Contact Information form.

These forms must be completed and turned in far in advance of the graduation date.  Access Banner Self-Service via 49er Express for the Admission to Candidacy and the Application forms.
